A long term crafter I finally achieved my goal of gaining a BA (Hons) degree in Textile Design at the University of Derby after taking early retirement. Although I enjoy various crafts I specialised in knit for my degree as that is my passion.
My designs are knitted on a variety of different vintage domestic knitting machines. I also knit socks with pre-dyed sock wool using an antique circular sock knitting machine. With the environment in mind I prefer to use natural yarns where possible, although the sock yarn includes nylon/polyamide for strength.
I am the proud owner of two tabby cats who, surprisingly, are not interested in my balls of wool!

super warm and well knitted
The socks are for Christmas presents, so I haven't tried them on. However they look lovely and were beautifully wrapped. Thank you for the prompt despatch and delivery.
