I am showing a selection of my paintings at the Teenage Market Event at Stockport County FC, Edgeley Park, on Sunday 14th April from 11. am - 4. pm
There will be lots of other creators there along with food, refreshments and entertainment. A great day for all, I can't wait to meet you there!
You might know- if you've seen my other works, that i'm pretty obsessed with painting mills and urban decay. There's just a certain photogenic thing about patina doors and old chimneys that interests me a lot. Unsurprisingly, this mill is now a housing estate, so its nice to show people what once stood here for a century, spinning away cotton every day fro 1900 to the 2000s!

An atmospheric take on a local demolition site, of an old cotton mill!
The reference picture itself is from about 2008, when Carhill Mill was knocked down after a collapse in the its structure. It is a mixed media piece done with oil pastel on top of acrylic paint.
It comes in a lovely white mount, The total size (including mount) is 55x48cm Hope you enjoy!
