Having spent a week teaching Year 4s about Matisse- his still life paintings and collage, I was inspired to combine the two and create a series of cards showing a vase on a table with a view. The view is a photo taken by me on my walks in the countryside and then used as part of the collage. I had a lot of fun making this card and I love the colours of this print/polymer clay mix card. I think it’s a fantastic combination to brighten any day and a stand out on the shelf of Birthday cards with its handmade design.
