Looking for a pattern for a different bag, I saw these and thought how useful they would be for those times when you don't need to take much. This one, in bright summer stripes, reminded me of deckchairs in the sunshine! It is teamed with pale denim to reverse.

A hobo bag is a compact bag, perfect for days when only the essentials are needed. The actual size of the bag is 24cm in depth and 31cm in width. It's a two-in-one design – just turn it inside out for an alternative look. Thread the longer handle through the smaller loop and slip it over your arm, or simply hold it in your hand, and you're all set to go! This version features bright stripes in cotton poplin paired with light denim.
