As someone who loves sewing and loves the iconic images of the mid-century sewing patterns, I wanted some way to re-create these. I designed these cards especially for people who sew or for someone who collects vintage ephemera.
Whether it’s for a birthday, get well soon, happy retirement or a thank you, this card will suit almost any occasion and has been left blank for your own message. The back has my makers label stuck on, and, if I know the date of the pattern, this has been pencilled in on the back at the top. Comes with a plain white envelope.
Designed to represent a mood-board, these cards have been created by combining prints of my own sewing patterns with themed ink stamps, vintage buttons, various fabrics, and, coloured thread and papers to match. Accessories have been glued onto the card with crafter’s pick glue and should stay stuck unless they are picked at.
Each card is a one of a kind and will not be recreated.
