Full description
This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique. It is entirely hand crafted, unique and very special.
A very sweet little Blue Tit. I have some nesting in the garden and they are so very cute I just had to make a glass version as I feel rather honoured that they have chosen my garden for their home. it may be they like the food I provide !.
I've positioned it on a streaky green twig which as well as making a more satisfying shape for the suncatcher also makes it a stronger structure.
As for all blue tits, the face is white with a blue cap, the chest yellow and the back and wings blue..
It hangs from a little silvery chain and is 10 cm high and 12 cm wide.
This lisiing is for one bird. I currently have 2 for sale.
The bird you receive may not be one of those in the pictures as they fly quite fast but it will be equally sweet.
This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass.
