I found my tin of lovely soft cotton threads. They are beautiful colours and a lovely 'weight' for sewing on this reclaimed, vintage, wool fabric. The flower motif worked well in several sizes.

Red wool flowers, hand embroidered in cotton threads on reclaimed red wool fabric, from a vintage coat, decorate this pretty and stylish barrette.
The two embroidered flowers have been stitched together. A barrette clasp has then been securely stitched in place.
Width of embroidered panel: 9.5 cm approx
Width of clasp: 6 cm approx
PLEASE NOTE: Items from Lynwoodcrafts Recycled are intended for adults. This barrette is unsuitable for children under 36 months since it contains small parts which might represent a choking hazard.
