Full description
A set of 5 stitch markers made with lampwork glass beads in dark purple with delicate pink, lilac and blue details.
Each bead is individually formed by melting coloured glass rods in a flame. Once the bead is round it is rolled in crushed glass called “frit” which adds the speckles of colour. Due of the random nature of frit, no two beads will ever have exactly the same surface pattern which means each bead truly is unique!
Made with repositionable findings, they will fit a range of knitting needle sizes and are shown here with on a 3.25mm rod for size reference. Each stitch marker is approximately 3.5cm from top to bottom. Want these colours on a tigertail stitch marker instead? All my stitch markers will arrive on a presentation backing card, perfect for gifting! An organza gift bag can be added as an extra if you would like.
All my beads are fully annealed in a digitally controlled kiln straight from the flame for strength and durability. They are fully cleaned and inspected before being offered for sale. I do take great care to try and ensure the photos represent the actual colours but as all devices and monitors are slightly different please note that some small differences can occur.
