Full description

I've crocheted a pumpkin costume for my knitted baby meerkat so that she can go trick or treating...isn't she gorgeous?

You'll be buying both meerkat and costume, and the costume is FULLY REMOVABLE, as obviously your meerkat wouldn't want to be embarrassed still wearing a Halloween costume in November. He'll probably be pestering you for a Santa suit by then...

The costume is in two parts. The bright neon orange pumpkin slips over the meerkat's head and ties at the back of the neck. I've added some extra toy stuffing under the "skirt" to pad it out. The loose weave of the costume allows the meerkat's arms to pop through ready to carry her candy home.

The costume is finished with a chain of leaves, which can be worn however she chooses, around her neck or over her head.

The dressed meerkat can sit freely because his little bottom has been weighted with a stockinette parcel of bean-bag-filling. He is approximately 5" tall (13cm), seated, and is unsuitable for tiny meerkat worshippers owing to small parts.

Materials: acrylic yarn and childsafe polyfibre filling, silver plated beads
