Full description
This greeting card is of a parade of shops on Chapeltown Road in North Leeds. The original image was a screenprinted artwork by myself, Leeds based illustrator Simon Lewis, originally produced in 2011. This parade of shops in Chapeltown is one of many architecturally interesting shop fronts in an area that has remained occupied by local businesses rather than national chains. I particularly liked the decorative tiled frontage of this parade, using the local Burmantofts tiles that were popular in the era. The original is a 4 colour screenprint, each colour derived from a detailed drawing to give a bright and vibrant overall image.
The card has been digitally printed with a satin finish on 330gsm matt white board.
It's DL sized - 21cm x 9.9cm when folded.
