Hand knitted fine wire cuff. Dark green fine wire threaded with tiny orange and green seed beads. Double layer of knitting for denser appearance and added strength.
Stretches to get on, then teases back to fit snugly and comfortably around wrist.
Width- 9cm.
Stretches from 20cm up to 22cm in circumference.

The first thing I knitted with wire was a necklace. I was pleased with it and wanted to make a bracelet to coordinate. This was less successful as the delicacy of the fine knitting tangled to an untidy mess. Undaunted I set about making something a little more robust.
First the seed beads are painstakingly threaded onto the wire spool. Using very thin knitting needles, I then knit a long 'scarf', enough to create two layers. The layers are finally sewn together to create a truly striking cuff.
The knitting allows it to stretch, meaning it can fit a rage of wrist sizes and it can easily be teased back into shape, whatever happens to it.
