I wanted to capture the contrast of the stillness with the powerful underlying, about-to-flee sense of the stag, nose quivering.
I think often about the quality of being powerful in my own vulnerability - the courage and power it takes to be honest. This is what I wanted to convey through the wild nature of this beautiful creature

A stag stands tall, proud and inquisitive amidst the swirling blues of a snow storm . He is strong and yet vulnerable - a call to live from our centres. This is a quality, limited edition art print of my original watercolour, using experimental modern and traditional techniques. It is limited edition which means that once all the prints in an edition are sold, there will be no more printed.
Every giclee is signed, numbered, and titled by Tara Winona and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
The image is 8" x 11" (21 x 30cm) about A4 in size, and is presented with a window mount and in a plastic sleeve.
The prints are on finest quality, acid free archival 310gsm Hahnemuhle paper, which has a thick texture similar to the original watercolour paper.
We use archival Epsom inks which have improved print permanence characteristics that provide lightfastness ratings of up to 100 years for color prints. These prints are stunningly beautiful and we pride ourselves on the quality of each and every one produced!
