This one is sold but I'll be making another. Please ask if you would like one and I'll make one for you right away.

'This is a stained glass suncatcher made using the Tiffany copper foil technique.

A Sweet Pea, a brand new design in 2013

It is a very pretty floral design.
I've used a mix of different textures and colours of pink glass to make the flowers and a bright clear green for leaves and sepals. I've used twisted wire for the stalk and curls of wire for tendrils.

There are 26 individually cut, foiled and soldered pieces of glass in the flower.

The suncatcher hangs from a little silvery chain which is securely attached to the top. The glass flower section is 4 inches wide and high.

This item is absolutely unique. I never make two pieces exactly the same, I always use slightly different colours and textures of glass for each piece even when making the same pattern.

The 5th photo shows the first I made of this design so you can see it in slightly different colours..

It will make a lovely present for anyone. It looks absolutely beautiful hanging in the window where it shines and catches the light and welcomes in the sunshine.

Surely one of the prettiest of flowers. I would like to have added some lovely perfume but you will just to have imagine it.
