Full description
One from a series of handmade ceramic tree ornaments.
This one features the Harvest Moon, a shining crescent watching over a lone Autumnal tree.
The tree sculpture and base are formed from stoneware clay, handpainted with underglaze colours, covered with a transparent glaze in parts of the sculpture. A leaf pattern is embossed on the tree while the clay is leather hard. Once fired, a polymer clay moon with gold coloured metal leaf is attached with wire.
Stamped with my maker's mark.
