This nautical themed card has been made from pieces of vintage fabric, machine sewn on to fresh white card. The finishing touch is a snippet of text cut from an old copy of 'Gulliver's Travels', reading 'to the shore'.

A fun card for anyone going travelling, or a pretty birthday card for all ages.

I made some of these for my friends recently, and couldn't resist putting a few in the shop! I was inspired, as ever, by my stash of vintage fabrics, as well as the approach of summer. Gulliver's Travels seemed the ideal book to combine with the sailing boat theme - plus, it's one of Vixen's favourites! Pixie x
