Full description
This gorgeous little Kingfisher was inspired by a beautiful reference photo by Peter Skillen, who generously gave me permission to paint from his photo. The loosely painted background setting is my own design and contrasts well with the detail on the bird.
I have painted this picture on good quality 300gsm watercolour paper using professional quality watercolours which give a wonderful vibrancy and depth to my work.
The painting measures 6 x 4 inches and fits into a standard frame or mount.

The painting will be well packaged, protected by card, tissue and cellophane. Presented with a certificate of authenticity and a hand made envelope, all of my art is a delight to both collect and to gift.
As with all water-based art, to keep it at its best it is important to display this painting out of direct sunlight and away from damp/humid conditions.
