This is a keepsake which will last forever, a beautiful love letter to be treasured and passed down as a family heirloom. Perfect for a paper wedding anniversary gift, or to give on a wedding day, the love letter has your own words, written by a professional calligrapher.

Ordering is very simple: send me the words you’d like me to write, and I’ll prepare your letter and post it to you. Every word is handwritten. I begin with a blank sheet (or sheets) of A4 paper and an envelope, my calligraphy pens and ink. You send me the words to write, including the address at the top, date… anything! and I’ll write your letter and address your envelope.

Your vintage love letter will be folded twice and inserted in a DL envelope which will not be sealed. A wax seal will be attached to the lip of the envelope for effect. The letter inside will be wrapped with metallic gold thread, and the envelope itself will be wrapped with metallic gold thread.

The paper has an antique finish, which is achieved by gentle heating. The ink is permanent.

I've been writing love letters for loved up couples for years, and the example shown in the images was created especially for a romantic photo shoot at Cliveden House. I love seeing old love letters and postcards and this is inspired by the beautiful examples I've seen in museums and online.
