Full description
This fantastic up-cycled jacket is created from wool jumpers. These are previously loved and recycled jumpers, that I have washed in a hot temperature and pre-shrunk. I have then cut and re-stitched the jumpers, with all seams being professionally finished with a serger/overlocker, to create this fabulous top.
The jumpers are really soft and cosy, and have been carefully selected in shades of blue, red,cream and grey. There is a long hood, 2 decorative patch pockets, neck ties and a button band closure with painted wooden buttons.
The photos show the coat on a size 10-12 mannequin.
Actual Dimensions are:-
Chest - 44”
Hem around hips - 46”
Length nape to hem - 26”
Hood length - 38”
Underarm sleeve seam length - 20”
Due to the up-cycled nature of these jackets, and their weight, they are very versatile and have a variable fit, and do stretch, so this jacket will fit a large range of sizes. I can provide further measurements if required.
I would suggest to hand washing your jacket and dry flat. Although I have already hot washed the jumpers, they could still shrink!
