I had a few old sketchbooks with interesting paper and I'd also collected some old maps with not much notion of what to do with them but then I got on the idea of making a book, so I went on a one day course and learnt how to hand stitch a book. And then I was hooked!
Its great to work with a different material as I normally work with fabric and I've really enjoyed making a series of these notebooks each using different recycled papers mixed with good cartridge paper for sketching or writing.
I hope people enjoy using them as much as I enjoyed making them!
