Full description
This is one of a series of glass and stitch landscapes inspired by my local beach and shoreline. I fuse the strips of glass together in my kiln, printing the scene with glass enamel. Once it is fired I add further detail with stitch. Due to the nature of the fusing and print processes, each one of these little landscapes is different from the last, making every one a unique piece of art.
I try to use recycled glass wherever possible; the glass used for these pieces is unwanted picture frame glass.
The white box frame measures approximately 10" x 8" (26cm x 21cm) and is ready to hang.
