Full description
Tote bag with embroidered flowers. Small tote or hand bag sewn from two heavyweight cottons and lined in a spotted poly cotton all from my own stash of fabrics. It has a small lined and interfaced internal pocket large enough to hold a mobile phone or a set of keys and it closes with a tab and a magnetic fastener decorated with two matching buttons. I have embroidered flower motifs across the front and picked out a detail for the border along the base. There is an additional small flower on the back of the bag. The reversible bag charm is detachable and measures approximately 6 cms ( 2 1/4 inches ) in diameter.
The bag and the base have been interlined in a heavy fusible interfacing for stability and shape and all the seams have been four stitched overlocked for strength.
It measures approximately 27cms ( 10 1/2 inches ) wide tapering to 18 cms ( 7 inches) at the base and 28 cms (11 inches ) in height and is 10 cms. ( 4 inches ) deep. The straps are 46 cms ( 18) inches long.
