I wanted to tell the story of Jack the Clown and his jack in a box through a series of products and illustrations. This cushion is designed to sit with the other prints so Jack can jump out of his box, but it also looks just as nice on its own.

A rather marvellous circus cushion cover featuring an original print from the Butterscotch & Beesting Circus.
This print is called Jack the Clown. Here's the little story that goes with it...
Jack the Clown curls up tight inside his candy-coloured box, biding his time. He hears the chatter of visitors by the gates of the Butterscotch & Beesting Circus, ticket stubs being
ripped, the gasps of delight as the wonders of the circus unfold beyond the entrance.
One. Two. Three. Boing ! !
Out jumps Jack. Right out. In fact, all the way out . . .
Up through the open lid of his box and high into the air. Jack somersaults to the ground and takes his place among the curious troupes of this most magical circus.
