Full description
Shimmering Lavakite stones, a gemstone related to Labradorite, have been simply strung together to create this gorgeous cuff bracelet. The curved cut of the stones makes this more like a bangle than a bracelet as the finished piece is quite rigid and keeps its shape.
Lavakite is a gemstone often used for ornamental purposes, like facing buildings, due to it being so attractive with its shimmering sheets of mica minerals. It is a gorgeous blend of greys and blacks, which look fantastic with smart or casual outfits. These stones have a high polish and are smooth to the touch.
The gemstones have a puffed or curved profile and have been double drilled. I have strung them onto strong stretch elastic to create this cuff design. I have not used any sterling silver, making this piece perfect for those of you with the most sensitive skins.
The stones measure 20 x 10 mm each approx, so you can get an idea of the size of the bracelet when worn.
The bracelet has an internal diameter of 57mm approx.
