A statement floral necklace with a little bit of edge - Athena's Blossom has sparkle and thorns!
This beadwork necklace features a hand-stitched pendant created in matt copper and metallic rose gold Japanese glass seed beads, to form a floral motif. At its centre, the design features an unusal matt copper Czech glass spike (don't worry, they aren't sharp!), and is embellished with Swarovski crystal bicones and Czech firepolished crystals; the Swarovski crystals are a vibrant sapphire blue with an 'ab2x' coating which produces a stuning colour flash as they catch the light. The pendant measures approximately 4.5cm across at its widest point. This piece of beadwork takes 2 hours to weave using a needle and thread.
The beaded pendant is hung on a lightweight champagne gold plated oval link chain which has had wire-wrapped Swarovski crystals added into it for a little extra dazzle. The finished necklace chain measures 16 inches in length. A 2 inch extension chain has been fitted to allow further adjustment to the wearer. The necklace fastens with a lobster style clasp, with an additional sparkle cluster of crystals.
All Hollybird Beads jewellery is sent out wrapped in tissue paper, in its own pretty organza bag.
