This bag in lovely muted earthy tones is made from a mix of Sirdar Simply recycled yarn and Twilleys Echo recycled cotton. It measures 34cm x 27cm and is fully lined using recycled fabric. It is finished off with a button flower on the front and back and I used the last of the yarn to make a tassle on the front as well!

I love to use up bits and pieces and and that is exactly what I did with this bag, the odd balls of yarn looked lovely sitting on my knitting shelf and so I thought of a way of using them together. The lining is lovely thick cotton jersey which used to be my daughters jacket, unfortunately it couldn't go to the charity shop because of stains on the cuffs, so it was great to find a good use for it!
