Chunky Flower Brooch, with Alpaca and Silk
This brooch is crocheted with each layer using a different type of yarn. The outer layer uses a chunky alpaca yarn in an undyed silver grey, the middle layer is crocheted using a merino yarn in a deep burgundy, the final layer is crocheted in ivory using an alpaca and silk blend yarn with seed beads threaded through the yarn.
The contrast in the different layers make this an interesting and different brooch to those I usually make.
The brooch is finished with a black felt backing and a brooch pin.
