The colours of the tweeds inspired me to do basketwork in wool - the interweaving lattice work is also a bit like those beautiful hurdles which are made by country craftsmen.

Full description
For this cushion I chose several beautiful tweeds, all in complementing shades of rusts, browns and neutrals, and interwove them to make an intricate latticework. The result, I think would work well in traditional as well as more minimalist modern interiors. I make all my things from upcycled high quality tweeds and wools which I collect in order to make new and vibrant things. I enjoy the transformation process and I pay a great deal of attention to tailoring and craftsmanship. This is a unique cushion - everything I make is a handcrafted one-off - made to be special, although, if you want two cushions, this one works very well in partnership with Lattice no 3 which is listed separately but which you can see in one of the thumbnail photos above.
Lattice No 2 meaures 50cms x 50cms. It is backed with a grey herringbone tweed and the closure is a concealed zip on the reverse. I am listing the cushion cover without the internal pad to avoid high postage costs. You can easily buy a cushion interior for just a few pounds - but if you would like to buy the whole cushion, contact me for postage costs which will be slightly higher.
