After becoming a big fan of the zombie TV series 'The Walking Dead' starring Andrew Lincoln it set me off wanting to make a batch of ugly wounded sock zombies. It's difficult to stop adding wounds once you start!

Full description
I had great fun making this Zombie Sock Monkey! I've used a pair of brand new mottled brown, thick walking socks with the rougher inside of the sock as the outside.
He has all kinds of wounds including:
- spilling guts and eye stalk made from stuffed tights
- a dangling popping out eye with a handmade fimo button as the eyeball
- cream felt ribs and red satin like fabric for open wounds
- felt and wool strands to make a patched up and wounded missing eye
- lots of big rough stitching to give the effect of scars
- a mini safety pinned bandaged leg with fake fabric pen blood
- a white sock and red yarn arm stump and dirty white scary sock teeth.
Monkey Zombie measures 26cm tall from the top of his mass of unruly feathery and woolly stranded hair down to his wonky feet.
This would be a great fun gift for Zombie movie fans or avid watchers of 'The Walking Dead'.
This is not a toy due to small parts such as buttons and safety pins.
