Wet felted by hand, this seemless felt bag has a simple flower design on the front.
100% merino wool has been used to felt the body of the bag. The flower design has been created using an inlay technique and the flower stems are hand stitched with 100% pure new wool. Dark grey shropshire 100% wool has been used for the handles which have been machine stitched to give extra strength. The lining has been block printed by hand with my own design onto 100% cotton calico using fabric screenprinting inks. The bag also has a magnetic closure.
Approx dimensions for the body of the bag are 22cm high x 23cm wide (8.5x9'') and the handle is 74cm (29'') long and 2cm wide. The feltmaking process makes each bag unique as each time a design is felted it will never turn out quite the same.
