Full description
applique and embroidered hoop art – a christmassy version of my popular peacedove design. would look great as a contemporary christmas decoration.
based on an original drawing by Little Black Heart, this design is entirely made by me on a domestic sewing machine.
it features a little bird, carrying a sprig of mistletoe in its mouth. holly decorates the branch above its head. the bird is in a grey floral printed fabric, with a bright red heart on its chest. wing and tail feather detail is in grey linen, and the tiny leaves and berries are in coordinating cottons and linens.
the fabrics are layered onto pre-washed calico, before i draw detail onto them with free machine (free motion) embroidery.
everything is cut, stitched and handmade, with care, by me, ensuring each hoop is unique, well made and securely constructed.
these hoops are 11cm (4”) in diameter.
i aim to post items out within 24 hours of payment, via first class mail.
