Inspiration for this design came from walking in the Staffordshire Moorlands and the beautiful hollybushes in the local hedgerows.

Our Holly Tie in green is the ideal accessory for the festive season it is fun yet classy too!
Each tie by Designer Silk is created by designer/maker Katherine Edge from her own designs using the serti technique of silk painting. Each tie starts out as white silk, Katherine then draws her design onto the tie using gutta then mixes her colours and paints the tie creating a unique work of wearable art. The paints are heat fixed so the ties may be dry cleaned or washed carefully by hand if kept flat. The tie is completed with the Designer Silk labes on the reverse.
