I'd been experimenting with different ideas to use some of the glass pearls I had in my bead collection. Once I had the central pearl in place I wanted to find a way to 'capture' it and incorporated a previous star pattern to create the 'pearl starflower' motif.

Full description
This necklace features an elegant beadwoven 'pearl starflower' pendant worked in classic jet black and sparkling silver-lined crystal. High quality Japanese seed beads and glittering Czech fire-polished crystals have been handstitched around a large central silver grey glass pearl to create an intricate pendant.
The pendant itself measures approximately 3cm across and is hung on a fine silver-plated 16" trace chain which fastens with a lobster clasp. Wire-wrapped silver and jet black crystals have been added into the chain for a little extra dazzle. A 2" extension chain has been added to allow further adjustment.
This pendant could be worn in the daytime or compliment a glamourous evening outfit too.
