I have used these simple flower motifs in my hand made cards and wanted to develop this further in this stitched picture. I love the combined texture of French knots and old worn materials to create something unique and simple.

Full description
This picture has been hand stitched on to tea stained vintage cotton and includes tiny shapes cut from Liberty fabric and other small scraps, some of which are recycled or vintage. Embroidery has been added and the suggestion of a cat sleeping was inspired by late summer grasses and the way a cat always finds the most comfortable spot. This is framed with vintage Laura Ashley chintz and other complimentary pieces of material.
A4 size and mounted on neutral linen type fabric on a stretched canvas. Ready to hang or stand and signed on the back.
