Item details

This bowl has been hand formed and patterned with an ammonite fossil stamp on the surface. It has been fired several times and with each firing I have added a single coat of verdigri glaze which has built up in each firing.
The dish has been made from stoneware clay and fired to 1260c.
This pretty dish measures approx 10cm.
The underside of the dish is not glazed but features a stem pattern on the the clay surface.

I love to experiment with different textures and materials and trying them out on wet clay. I have a beautiful ammonite print block which I use to create the surface pattern on this piece.
