Paintings made after trip to New York (and another to Barcelona) I was struck by the hazy warm skies providing a stunning contrast with the built environment. I was also fascinated by empty and silent back streets and the abundance of street furniture.

Full description
A collection of 8 postcards from an original series of paintings entitled "Street-scenes". Concerned with urban isolation and the abstract qualities of street furniture, these paintings were exhibited in 2008 and 2009. 2 of the originals are now sold. 3 paintings are from New York: "Abandoned Bus", "Street Furniture", Manhattan" and "Sunset from Manhattan Island" and 1 from Barcelona: "Tapas Bar".
