Full description
This is a one of a kind item that I made when creating a series of different Leaf dishes. I love the colour of leaves in the Autumn so decided that instead of doing what I usually do (greens/yellows) that I would create a one off Autum colours dish.
This dish has been hand - made; I used real leaves to make sure it looked as life-like as possible. It is made out of terracotta clay and each point carefully cut using a craft knife for precision. It was biscuit fired in a kiln before I painted it using glass glaze; it then went back into the kiln for a second firing to set the glaze.
As it is finished with glass you can use it for just about anything you like: from storing hair accessories or a soap dish for your kitchen/bathroom to storing your keys/jewellery or holding a candle; you can even use it for holding food items (ie a treat or some nibbles) if you wanted to.
It's approximate measurements are 23cm x 15cm x 5cm - but this is only a rough guide.
Please if you are using it for either soap or food make sure that you hand wash it only as it is not dishwasher safe.
