"And now the Shipping Forecast, issued by the Met Office on behalf of the Maritime and Coastguard Agency...". This is my tribute to a quintessentially British listening experience!
I'm a landlubber but often find myself sitting with a nice cup of tea listening to the shipping forecast on Radio 4. There's a certain poetry in the names of those sea areas, everyone has their favourites, mine are German Bight & Dogger. I like to imagine salty old sea dogs huddled around crackly radios eager for news of incoming gales.

Lovely limited edition screenprint inspired by the shipping forecast.
A blue & white striped mug of hot tea with a wisp of steam above. A list of the shipping forecast areas follows the curves of the steam. Three-colour screenprint ('cornishware' blue, 'milky tea' beige & 'stormy seas' grey-blue) on satisfyingly thick A3 cartridge paper;
Back by popular demand! "Shipping Forecast & Cuppa" has been reprinted in a 2nd Edition of 46 prints. Each print in the edition is signed, titled and numbered. The second edition is noted by a Roman numeral beside the print's edition number.

Printed on thick 220gsm Seawhite cartridge paper. Paper Dimensions 29.75cm wide by 42cm high. Image is 25.4cm wide by 36cm high (approx 37cm high including the edition number, title etc)
Fits Ikea 'Ribba' frame as shown in listing photo. Can be flat mounted or you could have a mount/matte cut to size.
Ships in a protective cello sleeve rolled in a sturdy cardboard tube. I try to recycle packaging whenever possible.
