Full description
A stylised bird brooch, made using felts in contrasting shades of purple. I have created a simple wing from a tiny piece of remnant cotton fabric which compliments these purple shades with tones of violet and mauve. This brooch is entirely hand-stitched, fastens with a 1" silver-tone brooch bar on the back, and would look great pinned to a jacket or bag.
The bird measures 3 1/2 inches long and approximately 1 and 3/4 inches wide.
