Looking for something a little bit different to send on Mother's Day? This Mother's Day card has been lovingly created and printed from original textile artwork.

Each letter began life as felt and fabric and stitched using the free machine embroidery technique. It was then scanned into my computer and printed with a border and background colour. Finally it was placed on a white 270gsm DL size greetings card (21cm x 10cm) and packed in a cellophane bag with matching envelope, ready to give to your lovely mum on Mother's Day.

This is one of a series of cards which have all been designed in fabric and then printed onto cards. The design is attached rather than putting the card through the printer, so as not to damage it.

I love free machine embroidery and like to work with cottons, felts and linens. I design and create original textile artwork and then scan my designs into my trusty computer. They are then printed off and made into quality greetings cards, using 270gsm card stock with matching envelopes and packaged into a protective cellophane bag.
