Full description
This gorgeous malachite cabochon is embellished with seed beads, fringed and strung with matching glass pearls, crystal rondelles and more seeds to create an unusual but incredibly sparkling and sophisticated look.
The necklace is approximately 18 inches long and is finished with a silver plated hook clasp, and will be lightweight for the wearer. It will go well with black or similar colour clothing, and suitable for evening or day wear.
Malachite is believed to be the protector of children, and is a stone of balance in relationships. It has been used since ancient Egyptian and Roman times. Most malachite, which is always green, comes from Zaire, Chile or Australia.
