Inspiration

Inspired by Charles II and the legend that he hid in an oak tree to avoid capture after the battle of Worcester, I decided that some little silver oak leaves were essential for my jewellery collection!

There is a quote from the king himself about his escape:
In this wood I stayed all day without meat or drink and by great fortune it rained all the time which hindered them, as I believe, from coming into the wood to search for men that might be fled there.
