Full description
This roomy handbag or shoulder bag is made from an exquisite fabric featuring raised chenille motifs in pinks, green, yellow and blue on a cream sateen background. A toning deep rose pink linen fabric has been used for the base and sides of the bag, the inside top facing and the single shoulder strap. Pleats on the front and back allow for a bit of expansion without making it too bulky. Two pretty vintage buttons on each side add a decorative touch.
The bag is lined with a firm floral cotton furnishing fabric, has two inner pockets, and it fastens securely with a magnetic clasp. It has been fully interlined for support and strength and also has a padded base.
Perfect for everyday use, travelling, or as a statement piece, this unique bag would also make an ideal gift. All my bags are one-off designs, so if you see one you like, catch it while you can!
The approx dimensions of the bag are: width at top 13 inches (33cm), width at base 15 inches (38cm), height 15 inches (38cm), base/side depth 3 inches (8cm). The shoulder strap is 30.5 inches long (77cm), with a shoulder-to-bag drop of 15 inches (38cm).
I recommend spot-cleaning with a damp sponge or dry-cleaning.
