Thrown on the wheel using a porcelain/white stoneware mix, this cake stand has been decorated with a duck egg blue, heart shaped, doiley design on top. I have clear glazed it and then added the base, also thrown on the wheel.

This stand would make a traditional afternoon tea and cake an extra special treat, or perhaps a lovely valentines gift for someone who loves to bake cakes!
