I saw this pattern on the internet, at http://sennaloves.blogspot.com, and immediately wanted to make it with the ball of silky yarn I had bought in Cornwall. The popcorn texture was a new stitch I hadn't tried before, and it worked up beautifully. I thought the wrapped yarn in the centre was such a good idea, and made the 'bow' effect very easy to achieve. I love it.

Full description
Beautiful retro 1940s-style crochet bow headband/earwarmer, in a lovely soft sandy brown silky yarn. The yarn makes the texture really crisp, and gives a lovely weight and feel to the piece.
The crunchy stitch is very stretchy, so this headband will fit any size adult - if you have lots of hair, that won't be a problem with this band!
A pretty accessory for any late winter/early spring wardrobe.
