Full description
This wall hanging is covered in a shower of crocheted flowers attached to a white and pink flowered background.
The flowers have been crocheted from embroidery thread, Sirdar Baby Bamboo yarn and hand dyed silk yarn, in varying shades of pink, white and apricot. Some of them have been embellished with upcycled beads in various mediums and metallic trimmings reclaimed from unusable jewellery.
The flowers are laid in a random pattern across vintage American cotton, white with a pink and lilac rambling flower design.
The picture is mounted in a 4 inch wooden embroidery hoop, the material has been securely fixed in place and the back finished neatly with white eco friendly felt, ( the felt has been made from recycled plastic bottles ).
This lovely artwork can be displayed propped against a wall for its backdrop, it can be hung over a picture hook using the screw fastening as it is or by adding a loop of ribbon to the screw fastening as an extra hanging embellishment
