I am a strong believer in recycling, reusing & repurposing & like to think out of the box to see how things, that have been deemed to have no further use, can be given a new lease of life.
These notebooks are one such example; they are made from beermats that were surplus to requirements &which have now been rescued before they went to landfill.
Although the mats used to create your notepad is recycled they have not been used in a pub, so they are not stained with beer/water damaged. As they are pocket sized they are perfect as a telephone or desk notepad & they have proved popular with grooms/best men at weddings as a fun gift for them to write their speech in & deliver it from on the big day! Much more aesthetically pleasing and fun than bits of card that get muddled up, stuck together or lost!
Boddingtons used to be brewed in the UK’s northwest – Manchester. These beer mats feature the Boddingtons crest, the City of Manchester bee symbol & the Perfect Cream slogan.
