Over the summer I used visiting garden birds as inspiration to create prints and embroideries. I think subconsciously our broken boiler inspired this particular piece with its cool, wintry colours.

Full description
This Blue Tit has been an inspiration for me throughout the summer and now into the winter. I originally created a lino print which has been printed onto fabric. I have then used appliqué and embroidery to add the detail. It has been finished off in a wooden embroidery hoop and has been covered at the back with decorative paper to hide the stitch work. It will come with a piece of twine to hang from. It measures approximately 7 inches in diameter.
