A soft, loose beret scarf ensemble for the Lady or little lady in your family.
Both the Beret & Scarf are hand crocheted on a larger hook to ensure a soft loose stitch within the yarn. I have then hand sewn honey, or amber toned glass beads, to both the beret & the scarf to complete the look. The scarf has eight blass beads, two sewn back to back on each corner of the scarf & the beret has ten beads in an abstract cluster. An ensemble for the young at heart and stylish!
The yarn for this crocheted set is 100% acrylic blend & is a wonderful zingy yellow / green.
This lovely set is washable with care at 30'C, but I would suggest hand washing & shaping whilst damp.
The loose beret is a clasic style. Crocheted in a continuous line, starting in the centre at the top, there are no seams or joins in the body of the hat. The approximate measurements for the beret is that it has a diameter of approx 24cms, with an opening diameter of approx 17cms when the yarn is relaxed.
The scarf is likewise crocheted in continuous rows and measures approx 104cms in length with a width of approx 14cms when the yarn is relaxed.
This set would be suitable for a child, of the age range of approx 10 upwards, but it would depend on your particular child, (My very own Jackie O look-alike, who is 12 years old), to adult, as the hat is a loose style, it actually also fits me, in a more fitted way and I am 45 yrs old.
