Full description
A windswept tree forms the focus of the scene on this brooch.
The background of the brooch has been hand appliqueed, with details added by embroidery. The clump of heather in the foreground has been stitched in embroidery threads. Couching, over a yarn in heathery shades, frames the design.
The brooch is stiffened by plastic cut from a recycled bottle. The back is neatened with commercial felt and a brooch pin is securely stitched in place.
Dimensions:
Height - 6 cm approx.
Items of embroidered jewellery may not be colourfast - care should be taken to remove them from clothing before washing.
