♥ This pretty yet practical retro look one of a kind shoulder bag is just right for Spring and would make a great gift, or perhaps a treat for yourself! ♥
The outside of the bag is made from black denim fabric with an upper band made from pink and white striped cotton fabric. The handles are made from black denim and are edge stitched in pink.
The bag has been finished by hand with lovely retro look detailing. The upper band is trimmed top and bottom with beautiful ribbons, one an embroidered ribbon from the 1970s and the other a 1980s ribbon with gorgeous dangles made from pink buttons and seed beads. On the front of the bag are three handstitched hearts, hand trimmed with tiny cream seed beads and pale pink flower shaped buttons.
The bag is fitted with a bronze coloured magnetic snap closure and has a double layer of interfacing. The interior is lined with the same pink and white stripe cotton fabric as used in the upper band on the outside. Also on the inside, is a handy pocket made from the same fabric as the outside of the bag. The pocket is just the right size for a mobile phone or any of those other bits and bobs that you want to keep track of.
